I am headed to Boca Grande to do some saltwater bow fishing in April, I will have my boat and spare time to get in freshwater shoots as well. When is the carp spawn typically there in Southern Florida? Thanks.

I would think you will be pretty close. Might be towards the end, but I'm about 1200 miles away so I'm just guessing. Lol

Carp spawn from early may though September here. I think you'll be as close as you can get. It all depends on water temp.

It's around April in to May. Common carp are not as thick lot other states. Florida has commons but not like up in the northern areas.

Now the long nose gar will start spawning close to the end of March in to April and May there's plenty of them to shoot.
