I have a Minn Kota Maxxum 80 pound, 24 volt trolling motor, what kind of a battery charger could I use to charge the batteries off the generator while bowfishing and how would I hook it up?

Thanks

You would need a 24v charger then just plug it into the generator and hook it up to the positive of the first battery and the negative end of the last battery.

Did you buy the MinnKota charger?
I bought a 24 volt Schumacher off amazon for now, it was only like 53.00.

My wife is starting to question my spending habits, the Fire Eagle, the Fish Hawk then 12, 50 watt led's and talk of a hand controlled Minn Kota Maxxum 80........ she is usually very supportive, but............................

You shouldnt use the chargers that are used to charge batteries at home as a charger to keep batteries charged all night. You need a 24v converter.

It will put out the amps your troller will need but the volts stay regulated and at a safe level. Eventually your troller will burn up from using it.

Not to mention. It doesn't have the amp rating to keep your batteries charged fully. They will still die
