Had a fairly warm evening last night in KY, so a buddy and I thought we'd cure a winter itch to do a little bowfishing. Wasn't expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised to run into several gar. Killed 12 gar and 1 sucker of some sort with the biggest gar weighing 9.5lbs.
