i have tried the hand control trolling motors and even made a stick for my foot control trolling motor. both worked fine but i just like to be able to shoot while still controlling trolling motor. no matter how many times i went. i thought my leg would get used to it and build up some super foot control muscle or something. nope still sore as heck. so i added 1 1/2 inches of rubber to back of foot control and bolted it back down on deck and for me that was the magic number. works different muscles or something.

I never had a problem with my controlling leg getting sore,

It was always the leg i was standing on all night. After running a steer stick on my troller its the cats meow.

Im with rdnckbwfshr i wouldnt think that would make any difference but hey. If it works for you then thats all that matters
