Hey noob here,I shot all last summer all around Mchenry County and did pretty good,

I want to hit the river this spring and start getting the big ones.

Does anyone know the best month to start or have some general hunting advice for Bowfishing carp on the Fox river in Northern Il. ?

Small world I am a little North of Ottawa, some big Carp on the inlet to the private Lake Holiday in Sandwich IL.

Might be able to bow fish around the bridge there.
