If its by you probably not. I always have problems when shooting turnys. Last one we blew up a batt. knocked out a light and lost a prop. Only to stick a 35 lb'er to have it get off at the side of the boat. Winning fish was like 22 lbs. To make it worse we got a little 2oz sucker, so needless to say we didnt even go to weigh in

It's on the Saginaw bay. 24 hour tournament from 8am Saturday to 8am Sunday. Should be a good time.

We got a leak in out boat last weekend at the GLBC and the bilge pump was giving me a heck of a time. Spent a lot of time messing with that.

Ended up with 128 fish in the first 9 hours of daytime shooting. Weather sucked for the night shoot and we only pulled 43 more before we got rained/blew off the bay at 4am. Will find out how we did later in the week.

sounds like you had a pretty good time none the least. I went out fishing for alittle bit yesterday, shot at a few gars but mostly bass fishing. then it started to rain before it got dark so we called it quits

The first half was a blast. The carp were rolling up in a cove off the Saginaw bay in about 6" of water. We pulled the boat in as close as we could and started shooting. Got 600lbs in a little under 3 hours. Then the fish moved deep into the reeds and wouldn't move. I shot at one 2 feet in front of me but my string was wrapped and I shit high...pulled my arrow out, and shot him, fish never moved. It made for a little slower shooting but was a blast hunting for them up in the reeds. Night time sucked though. Water was super mucky from the waves, 15-20mph wind and off and on rain. Not to mention we couldn't find any fish.

nice work man. is that a genny stand on the back? if so how do you like it
Yup. It's awesome!!! Cut noise in half and opened up a ton of room inside the boat. It makes a good elevated platform for daytime shooting as well.

I don't have a dog box for it. I've thought about making a wall to go across the front to deflect the noise but haven't got around to that.
I made it out of 3/4" emt conduit. I needed 2 10' poles that cost like $3 each. I used scrap angle iron I had laying around for the base to bolt to the bolt. I had my neighbor weld it up in exchange for running a few pine boards through our plainer. $3 worth of rattle can orange paint and I was all done. Whole thing cost under $10. Weighs maybe 15-20lbs.

Took me about 2 hours with a sawzall, a grinder, and a pipe bender to get it all set up to be welded.
