Cool looking fish. The picture is kinda small to see what it is but it looks like a gold carp to me. What did it weigh?
Its not albino. The DCNR here in alabama and a biology professor from the Univeristy of Alabama said its a rare find. Its a solid white common carp

Common carp have several different types of mutations that include leather carp (no scales) mirror carp (large spotty scales) and several others. They actually have a rather high mutation rate and new forms of mutations are continually being formed while others are becoming even more common like mirror carp. In some areas I believe they are close to 10% of all common carp. I've personally shot 1 leather and one mirror. Neither were full mutations but it was present.

Having a carp mounted has never came to mind until I seen this picture.
Nuffdaddy " I've personally shot 1 leather and one mirror. Neither were full mutations but it was present" I have shot straight out of Geiger rd for many years and I have shot several of these over the years. Every year I get Mirror carp and have had a few that had no scales to them.
Wow, I've never seen one like that either! Good catch!
Yeah backwater put that up. Something about it missing a gene or something of the sort
Definitely a cool fish. Would be cool if that mutation caught on a little. If like to shoot a few.
We had like a 27 lb goldfish shot at one of the shoots last year
Goldfish or gold carp?
That's a gold carp or a koi. It's basically just a color phase of a common carp that formed into its own sub species. That's still a huge one though. These are goldfish.

Gold fish are awesome. Not much fight but look the best in bowfishing.
The river I usually shoot on was loaded with em last year. I think we ended up with close to a doz compared to the 1-2 in previous years.
