Hi everyone! I'm Shannon, I'm 25 and while I've been interested in bowfishing I've only recently been getting out and doing it. Other than dabbling a couple times out back today was my first real day and I'm hooked. I've always loved to fish and anything really outdoors so it's only natural! Looking forward to being part of the forums

thats awesome! welcome to the forum and the sport of bowfishing. I remember my first time i stuck a fish, game over from then, couldnt get enough of it. I agree that its just getting outdoors is what counts

Well I've gone out a couple times for an hour or two with not much luck but my first real day where I did it for most the day I got my first fish a sheepshead, then a mullet, and a 35 lbs ray that made me realize I need gloves! It's been so beautiful out here lately, move to fl we got fishing all year round.

a battling glove is a must for me. I just picked up an ice saw and all the stuff to spear pike this winter. Hopefuly i will get one this year. it sounds like that ray was huge. that or i just dont know rays
