I have been able to talk with a few of y'all already, however, here's my story. I am fortunate to live on a river here in SE Ohio, where we get to shoot at least 2-3 nights a week. I'm very avid about punching holes and have had a great first year. I started shooting sting rays on Boca Grande, Florida while on vacation, and haven't slowed down since. I have modified my duck boat, and it works fine for me. If I'm not on the water, I'm thinking, studying and researching my next shoot. I hunt ducks, geese, deer, turkey, doves, and my favorite, hand catching wild hogs to sell to preserves in south Florida. I make multiple trips each year to fuel my sanity. I run lines for large flatheads in the spring. I also enjoy 3D archery. I have multiple trips out of state planned for bowfishing this year, which can't get here soon enough. Look forward go good conversations with y'all. I started a Facebook page so people can follow the journeys:

I asked Santa for a GoPro, I have tried to get video, but cameraman can't get 1st person action, let alone keep up. So this is where the GoPro would be handy. The action is very fast paced and extremely intense. I will have video this April, because wether Santa buys it or I do, i will have a camera to share why I enjoy it. I will upload some pics tonight for ya.

Here are some hand catchin' pics as promised...

Like I said, these are hand caught, using dogs to bay, and a catch dog. Once the catch dog goes we flip em and tie em. The boars are sold to shooting preserves and the sows people use for butcher hogs. It's a win win, the orchard owners get a nuisance removed, and the preserve gets its product.

Welcome aboard. I do a lot of the same stuff you do, but we don't have many pigs up here. Sounds and looks like it would be a ton of fun though. I live for duck and deer hunting. I took up Bowfishing a couple years ago to get me through the spring and summer and fell in love with sticking fish. Starting to do a little goose hunting and coyote hunting in the winter months as well.
Welcome again.

Thanks y'all! I have wanted to bow fish and now that I have, no regrets, extremely addicted. Goose & duck hunting is fun and frustrating at the same time, I started in the early 90's, and it consumes my December and January's. Deer run my life in late October and in November. Looking forward to the conversations.

I've heard Ohio is kinda a "no fly zone" for waterfowl. Lol. I'm up on the saginaw bay in Michigan and get good bird numbers, but a lot of pressure. We usually have some pretty good shoots, but I've had my fair share of skunks so far this year as well.

It's a little slow around here this time of year, but come April people get the Bowfishing bug again and it livens up on here some.
