This is what my Bowfishing spot looks like right now.

I'll start up some time in late April.

Waters on the rise here with the snow melting and all the rain so hopefully in the next few weeks we will be able to get on the water. Water levels were at small time low last year.

yeah last year around here water was low. Most of the lakes are up for right now though

We were an average about 2 foot low last year from the year before and almost 4 foot low from the long term average. We are at the average right now but at this time of year it should be 2-3 foot above with the runoff. Not looking good so far. Hopefully we get a wet spring.

Um. I would say pretty good.

Have gone twice to shoot and twice to put boat in water and test new gear. The test trips werent fishing trips so dont count them.

Both times we went out for less than 3 hours.

First night. Nearly 3 hours when troller died.

Second trip was just taking my stepdad out for his first time. I shot back up shots and runners amd gave him first shot. If there were multiples i gave him a chance to shoot before i stuck one.

He decided filling the barrell was enough for him. He didnt see the point to stay out after the barrel was full so we headed in.

2 - 2.5 hours

So i would say its rocking and rolling this year

You guys are making me jealous. Just got the boat out today to start getting it ready. Supposed to be above freezing every day in the 10 day forecast so it shouldn't be long now.

Come on down. Open invitation. My stepdad missed one friday night that would have pushed the 50# mark. Thinking back i should have done a 1 2 3 count with him but i was solely trying to get him to shoot as many as possible

I flat out missed a HOSS few weeks ago. Im talking big momma.

I saw 4 over 40lbs saturday night in about an hours time. But i didn't have a bow in my hand took some kids out to try their hand at it.

The house I two days away from closing on flooded with all the rain we had two weeks ago. I'm diligently trying to find a new house. I am currently displaced and none of my gear is handy, even if I had the time. Plus the rivers all look like chocolate milk from high water. Needless to say mines not been the best.

More snow today. But on a good note I got a report from a guy that was walleye fishing in the river and hooked into a couple carp last week. They are starting to come outa the deep.

still cold here In michigan but do-able. Shot one of my best saturday night, close to 30lbs. water is finally clearing up a bit and will hopefully stay that way. Only got 6 for the season totaling around 100lbs

My buddy went out yesterday and had a great turnout! I missed out for sure just hope I get some time this weekend!
