When I lived in Columbia I would hit the creeks dumping into the Mo River, mainly Pershe Creek. Eagle Bluffs Conservation Area was usually pretty good to bank shoot. I moved to Gerald this past late summer and sold my boat when I left Columbia because the rivers are too shallow for a prop down here. I have shot the Loutre several times from the bank. I am without a boat right now and still trying to learn the area. Looking for spots and other folks to shoot with.

I have a buddy in Hermann that we would walk the bank just North of Hermann around the MKT bridge and then we would also hit a creek that was East of the grocery store there.

I have always wanted to shoot the Gasconade in Gasconade where it dumps in the the Missouri River... it has to be good there!

I have everything for the build but still waiting for a friend to get around to helping with it, I hope soon..........
I have built several rigs over the years. If you get tired of waiting on him shoot me a message and I can swing down for the day. I lived in Rolla for several years, we use to hit the Gasconade River in Jerome a bit.

I grew up in St. Clair shooting the Meramec. You need a jet pump around that area but it is shootable. Not a lot of big fish but plenty to shoot. Most the the folks that shoot the Meramec go down stream toward Pacific. We would also put in to the Bourbeuse River in Mossell when it dumped into the Meramec (just NorthEast of St. Clair).

The jet is not a problem, I have a 18/56 Alweld with a 150 Merc jet drive,I am about two miles west of the hwy K bridge every weekend, my wife has cattle out that way.
Jobo, when I get it done, let's shoot a few.
