I had high expectations for yesterday morning but it didn't pan out like I had planned. The tide was out and the water was muddy like chocolate milk. The other problem was the thousands of mullet on the grass beds jumping, swirling, running, and basically pushing anything worth shooting away. I've never seen anything like it. I managed to shoot 18 buffalo, 3 gar, and 3 mullet that jumped in the boat. I'm definitely ready to see some clearer water!

It definitely wasn't a bad trip. It was spotty. I went the first 3 hours and never fired a shot. Shot most of the fish the last hour I ran the lights. After the last trip I made down to the delta I thought I had them kinda pinpointed. The fish weren't in the same spots they were a few weeks ago. I have high expectations when I go out. Keeps me excited about going!
