I carry a glock 23 .40. What kind of holster you gunna use? Also, do you have a good stiff gunbelt? Picking a firearm is only half the battle.

Cool I was looking at glocks but I couldn't get past the only safety is the trigger safety. And I have not got a holster yet thanking about a shoulder/ chest holster but haven't yet decided. And no stiff gun belt.

A good holster and a stiff belt makes all the difference in the world. I bought mine from ridgidholsters.com and couldn't be happier. Really nice belt for the price. I carry a hybrid kydex/leather inside the waistband rig just behind my strong side hip. conceal a full size handgun in a tee shirt at 6' 150 lbs. Check out crossbreed, galco, comptac, or whitehat holsters for similar rigs.

Oh and btw, while not very well known, glocks have three safeties. Trigger safety, drop safety, and a firing pin safety. just no external safeties.

Best of luck with your new gun, take your time researching what holster would best suit your needs and style (may have to change your attire slightly) and carry in good health.

My wife loves her Glock! She won it in a raffle, and is extremely accurate with it.
