Post up what you bought. Bowfishing related or not.

I want to get one of those. I bought a 30# recurve that I'll try to use this year to save my elbow a little strain.
I really want a recurve, but my bow is working good so I've held off.

Didn't buy any of these, but I guess this is what happens when you tell people your looking for old bows for bowfishing. Picked up 4 in the last month. 1 was too sketchy to use, but the other 3 will make nice loaner bows to replace my old junky loaner bows I have.

well its not really bowfishing related but hopefully i will be buying some new icefishing combos tomorrow. It was a pain in the butt to reel up 43 feet of line on a old school schooley reel! but got some jumbo perch

Just got a new welder too. Gonna work with my dad this weekend and hopefully get a good start on my platform. Water is starting to open up here now and it won't be long now.

Nice! what kind of welder did you get? tig, mig? and what kind of platform are you doing? I want an expanded aluminum deck covered in that foam mat stuff.
It's just a arc/stick welder. Didn't want to spend a ton when I'm not going to be doing a ton of welding.

I'm going to attempt to make it out of EMT conduit. Seen a few online that turned out pretty good.

Once you learn to weld there is no stopping you.
That's what I'm hoping. There have been a lot of times where I was working on something and had to spend a lot of time and effort trying to bolt stuff that I could have welded in a couple min.

nice, i got an older model of that one. It never gives me problems. all i do is change the oil once in awhile. My friend got one last year and burned it up right away. I guess they told him about 1 in 4 will give you problems but they usually take care of it for you
