Welcome from Zollie with Bowfishing Association of Florida

I would start off using a spinner and put some 200# fast flight on it. Walmart has a shakespeare synergy ti spincast. I use them and they are under $25.00.

Welcome from Mississippi. Like zollie said get the Shakespeare ti very durable and strong little reel. You can't beat it for the price. You should also look into the ams bottle reels they cost a lil bit more than most spincast reels but you don't have to worry about pushing a button or setting drag. Just mount it to your bow and start slaying some fish. Either way you go your going to have a blast. Good luck and welcome to the sport of BOWFISHING!!!!!
