Took a buddy of mine out for his first trip. He had a blast. Didn't see a whole lot and the bugs were terrible but we had fun.

That's the same boat we are in. We are about 5 foot above flood stage right now and we are supposed to get another 4 inches of rain tomorrow and Friday.

sound like you got a awesome spot. We are lucky if you can see down more than 2 feet. The Grand River is not very clean and pretty deep in some spots. All the houses are flooded right now, so maybe the carp will move up into the flood planes. Im hopeing for the spawn they are up there, because I wanna try my hand at a day shoot this year
