While looking at the pitiful assortment of ammo this morning, I saw what appeared to be a drifter with an old compound bow slung across his back. he kept walking up and down the outdoor isle. He was just acting kind of funny. Wanting to find out his demeanor and his intent, I casually asked him what he was looking for, knowing full well what he was after. "arrows bro. Arrows." I told him he probably wouldn't find any as they were a seasonal item. He then mentioned he didn't know anything about bows, and that's why he had his bow to make sure he got the right ones. So I asked if I could look at it and educated him arrows, rests, draw weight, etc. He asked for the nearest place that would sell them, and he it was close enough to walk to. I told him of an archery shop about a mile away and to take his bow to the folks there and they could answer any other questions he had. He told me "thanks dude" and walked out. I have no idea what he was going to use the arrows for, and its really none of my business as he was doing nothing wrong. thought it kind of a funny sight in Walmart, and thought I'd share an interesting encounter.
Only thing is I wish I had snapped a picture.......
