Well...my dog came to the door an hour ago reeking like a skunk. Gave her a bath in peroxide, baking soda, and dish soap. Now she is all dried off and in her crate. Now my house smells like a skunk though.
I know a few people that aren't bothered by the smell. I'm not a fan of it but it doesn't make me gag or anything. She's all cleaned up though. Smells a little on her face still but not too bad.
