It poured rain of course just about the time we got setup. But my nephews didn't give up so we pressed on.

Only got 2 gar, 1 beaver & 2 snakes lol

Yeah, he put up a hell of a fight for sure. I had never shot one with a bow before much less with an arrow attached to a string.
It took us about a half hour to get him to the bank of the river. He was crazy powerful.

Whack him 2wice on the back of the head with a paddle or solid something and it'll kill em dead

Right behind the ears. Be very careful before they are dead. Their jaws are crazy powerful. One took a bite out of my boat before I could whack em. And their claws are sharp too!

But they do put up an awesome fight!

Having a slow time down here n ga too.... Where did all tha fish go ? Anybody found any good fish up n the creeks ? Gona go with a friend tonight that said he's been seein sum 30 plus lb cats !!!! Can't wait !!
