I have not had any problems. Though I have only taken about 50-60 (biggest about 30lbs)fish with the RPM shaft and tip. I like the design of the rest. I suppose the jury is still out on their product line then. Love AMS and Cajun archery though. I loose very few fish with the Sting-A-Ree.hows your experience with the rpm products? everything ive bought i just trashed bc not heavy duty enough for bowfishing
I have shot rpm gear for a year and threw 2 reel seats and 1 straight shooter rod into the river this weekend because they broke on me. I don't horse fish or keep my drag super tight on my spinner. The bolts that thread into the riser on their reel seats broke off on me. I had to go swimming for one setup cause it fell in the river and the other I went to reel and the reel seat came off the front of my bow. The barbs on their point hold fish well untill they bend and break on you. I have a tip that I shot 3 fish with and the barbs are bent bad on it. Their rest is about the only good product they have IMO. They make a great looking product but it doesn't last for more then a couple trips out.hows your experience with the rpm products? everything ive bought i just trashed bc not heavy duty enough for bowfishing
