I've seen a lot of trash underwater. Found a perfectly good cooler that I grabbed out. Took my little brother out at our cabin for gar and he saw one about 4 1/2 foot long and he had a good look on his face. Lol. I also find it amusing the sun turtles are attracted to light. Always have a couple swimming along side the boat.

I believe ya. I've seen some good size schools of catfish around. I don't usually shoot them though. The rivers around here are really polluted so I don't want to eat them. They don't hurt much so I usually let em swim.

Alligator Gar dont attack people really. There have been reported incidents, however they are very far and few between decades and some are suspect for misidentification. Even the alligators around here are very skittish and dont hang around if people are near.
